A report published on Saturday claims that the ZTE Grand S 2 LTE sold out a supply of 50,000 units in 58 seconds. This information comes from Tmall, a Chinese language online mall that sells to those living in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. The ZTE Grand S 2 LTE was introduced earlier this year at CES in Las Vegas, and was launched in China just a few days ago. ZTE's new flagship is designed with the power user in mind, and racked up an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score, even topping theSamsung Galaxy Note 3 (34,938 vs. 34,652).

The ZTE Grand S 2 LTE is equipped with a 5 inch screen featuring resolution of 1080 x 1920. ZTE was not monkeying around when they designed the handset, as the manufacturer chose to protect the display using Gorilla Glass 3. A quad-core 2.3GHz

Is Xiaomi slipping? Last week, it took the Chinese manufacturer 34 minutes to sell out its first batch of 100,000 Xiaomi Redmi Note units. Back in November, it took only four minutes for the company to sell 100,000 units of the WCDMA Xiaomi Hongmi. In all seriousness, while previous models might have sold out quicker, this is still quite impressive.
