Samsung GALAXY Note II Android 4.4.2 update is available in France only

The Samsung GALAXY Note II has already started receiving Android 4.4.2, although the update for now is limited to a single variant of the device in France. And those in France with the GT-N7100, can only receive the KitKat version of the OS by syncing their phablet to a desktop PC, and pulling out the update from Samsung Kies. The build number is N7100XXUFND3.

Android 4.4.2 will eventually be sent out OTC to all versions of the GALAXY Note II, bringing faster and smoother performance of the device, white status bar icons, full-screen album art and a lock screen camera short cut. Other changes include support for wireless printing, a transparent status bar, support for NFC-tap-to-pay and the secure app container known as KNOX.
The French love Jerry Lewis, and now they love Samsung. For those in other countries, the update for the international version of the GALAXY Note II should be coming to you soon, and not just via Kies. As for those in the states, as soon as your carrier is done testing Android 4.4.2, the update will be heading your way.
