Can the Samsung Galaxy S5 survive two extreme water tests
After seeing how popular the waterproof feature was (and is) on Sony's flagship Android powered smartphones, Samsung decided that this year, it would have its flagship Android phone come out of the box with IP67 certification. That means that the phone can be submerged in up to 1 meter (3.28 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes, and still survive!

Over the last two months, five executives from Sammy's mobile operations in the U.S. have left the company, with at least one moving to Apple. The five include Seshu Madhavapeddy, the senior vice president of product and technology, whose job was to develop and deliver Samsung's mobile devices.
