Windows and Windows Phone app stores combined now feature over 400,000 apps
Microsoft’s Windows Phone Marketplace has been growing at a steady pace in the last few months, and the third-largest app catalog seems to have officially grown to over 250,000 apps. Just before Microsoft kicks off its 2014 Build developer conference, NeoWin snapped an image of the signage that is already being put up in preparation for the event at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, and the image reveals that Microsoft now has over 400,000 apps combined on the Windows and Windows Phone app stores. Recent reports revealed that there are more than 150,000 apps on the Windows marketplace, so that leaves us with 250,000 apps on the Windows Phone store.
